Products Overview

This guide walks you through the Products page, how to create and manage product listings, and what each field means.

This article provides a high-level overview of the main products page and the individual product details page. Overview of the main Products Page

The Products tab in Offset provides a comprehensive view of all products. You can view Products by Category, All products, Categories only, or Archived products.

From the Products by Category Page, you can:

  • See a list of products, including name, status, SKU, product type, format, Stock Status (if applicable), price, inventory quantity, and category

  • Import Products through a spreadsheet

  • Click into individual products or categories to edit or view

  • Export product lists

From the All Products Page, you can:

  • See a list of products

  • Filter by minimum and maximum prices, bottle size, category, product status (active, inactive), type, or varietal

  • Click into individual products to view or edit details

  • Add new products manually

Action Options:

  1. Select the Products you want to manage

  2. Select Choose an Action:

    1. Update status (Active, Inactive, Archive)

    2. Export product data

    3. Export order data for specific products

    4. Assign to categories (products can be assigned to multiple categories)

    5. Remove from categories


How to Add a New Product

You can add a New Product from the dashboard, the main product page, or by duplicating an existing product.

To duplicate an existing product:

  1. Select the desired product

  2. Click on Actions in the right-hand corner

  3. Choose Duplicate Product

  4. Fill in the Product Title, Subtitle, and SKU

    1. Most other details will be copied from the original product

    2. You should still review inventory, pricing, vintages, and tasting notes

To add a new product:

  1. Go to the Products tab

  2. Click New Product

  3. Fill in key product details:

    1. Product Type

    2. Product Title

    3. SKU

    4. Price

    5. Inventory

  4. Select Create Product

  5. Set up the product Visibility

  6. Add other details as needed

Once saved, the product will appear in the main Products list and will be available when creating orders.

How to Edit an Existing Product

To update an existing product:

  1. Find it on the Products page using search or filters

  2. Click on the product name to open the Product Details Page

  3. Select Edit

  4. You can modify any of the details found on the Product Details Page

  5. Click Save Changes when done

  6. You can edit products via an import

NOTE: Be cautious when changing SKUs or pricing for products that are part of existing orders or allocations — changes may affect those records. If you change a SKU in Offset, ensure it matches in ShipCompliant and your Fulfillment house.
