The Sign Up page in the Content Management System (CMS) controls the content, form fields, groups, and metadata for your customer sign-up experience. You can access the page by logging into your Offset Commerce account and selecting the Content tab, which will open up a separate window to the CMS. Next, select Pages > Sign Up on the left side navigation to view the page settings. Many of these settings overlap with the Sign Up section on the Settings > Content page. Where a field is shared, changes made on the CMS sign-up page will overwrite any of the ones on the Settings > Content page.
IMPORTANT: When making changes to these fields, make sure to select Update page > Save Changes in the right sidebar to make sure that your work is saved accordingly. Changes can take up to 5 minutes to publish live on your site. You may need to refresh your browser or clear your cache to see the latest changes.
Use the Update page > Preview in Staging link to immediately view your changes without the 5-minute delay. DO NOT share your staging link with customers under any circumstance.
Sign Up content
This section controls the visual and text content that appears on your customer-facing sign-up page.
Title Section
Title
The Title appears on your sign-up page above the form and message. The default name is Sign Up, and you are welcome to change the name in this field to suit your needs.
Subtitle
The Subtitle appears below the Title on your sign-up page. This field can be left blank. Use it to add a short supporting line beneath the main title.
Image Set 1
Image Set 1 lets you add images that display on your sign-up page. You can upload up to three images.
File requirements are shown next to the field. As of this writing the size limit is 10 MB, the max image height and width is 10000px, the image aspect ratio is 3000 x 2000, and the acceptable file types are jpg, jpeg, png, webp, and gif.
Each image requires alt text for accessibility and SEO. To reorder how the images appear, hover over an image, click the numbered button in the top left, and drag to reorder.
Lead
The Lead is the introductory text that appears near the top of your sign-up content. Use your brand voice to write a short, invitational message that draws customers in.
NOTE: When Lead text is entered, it overrides the Default Sign Up Messaging.
Body
The Body is the main block of text on your sign-up page and appears below the Lead. Use it to expand on your invitation, promote upcoming releases, events, or perks, or explain what customers can expect after joining.
NOTE: When Body text is entered, it overrides the Default Sign Up Messaging.
Example of the Sign Up Content fields: Title, Subtitle, Image Set 1, Lead, and Body
Redirect URL
The Redirect URL controls where customers are sent after they complete sign-up. Select a destination from the dropdown. If left unset, customers follow the default sign-up flow.
The available options are:
Account, which sends customers to their account page where they can view and update their customer information and view any current offers.
Offering, which sends customers to the current active allocation offering associated with their assigned default customer group.
Visit, which sends customers to the visit page (requires a Visit page).
Welcome, which sends customers to the welcome page. This is visible by adding /welcome/ to the end of your site URL (example: www.yourwineryurl/welcome/).
This allows you to send new customers to the most relevant page for your current campaign or signup flow. For example, sending them to an active offering during a release or to the welcome page for a warm introduction.
Example of the Redirect URL dropdown options
Dynamic Sign Up Pages (Optional)
Dynamic Sign Up Pages let you create additional, standalone sign-up pages for specific audiences or purposes, such as a special partner offer, a tasting room sign-up, or an event-specific request. Each page has its own content and its own subdirectory URL, shown in gray beneath the page name (for example, /special-partner-offer/).
Example of the Dynamic Sign Up Pages section
Use Add Content to create a new dynamic page. Use Import and Export to move page content in and out. Each page can be set to Active or Inactive using the status label, and the Edit controls let you manage the content on the individual pages.
Sign Up Configure
This section configures the navigation, buttons, default messaging, and form input controls for your sign-up page. Entering content in this section on the CMS will overwrite any of the ones on the Settings > Content page.
Navigation and Button Titles
If any of the following fields are left blank, the default names are displayed. Anything entered will override the default.
NOTE: When making changes to navigation titles and buttons, allow a few minutes for the changes to be visible on your live site. If you are not seeing the changes, try refreshing your page or viewing your site in staging.
Navigation Title
The Navigation Title typically appears on the sign-up and login pages. On the login page, the name appears at the bottom to the right of the "Are you new to YOUR WINERY NAME?" message. It also appears in the top navigation of the sign-up page. The default name is Sign Up.
Example of the Navigation Title on the sign-up page
Button Title
The Button Title appears on your sign-up page below the form under Consent. The default name is Sign Up.

Default Sign Up Messaging
This message appears below the Page Title on the sign-up page. This will display the default messaging until you make edits or updates. Use your brand voice to write an invitational message or call to action. You can also entice people to join by promoting upcoming releases, events, or perks.
NOTE: This is a fallback message. As indicated on the page, the Lead and Body text will override this message. You can also view this message on the Settings > Content page under Sign Up > Sign Up Page Message.
Sign Up Input Controls
These toggles allow you to enable or disable the various elements in your sign-up form.
IMPORTANT: All enabled fields are required by default. You can disable certain features using the appropriate toggles.
Salutation
Enabling this setting turns on the Title dropdown where customers can choose from the various salutation options. This customer input appears as the Salutation or Title in customer accounts and .csv exports.
Example of the Salutation (Title) dropdown on the sign-up form
Password
Enabling this setting turns on the password field, which new customers will need to fill out upon sign-up. This setting is highly recommended for the security of your customers' personal information.

Phone & Text
Mobile Phone
Enabling this setting displays the Mobile Phone field on the sign-up form. Disabling it removes the Mobile Phone and Text Message opt-in from the form.
Text Message Alerts
Enabling this setting turns on the text opt-in checkbox and message under the Mobile Phone field that says "Yes, I'd like to receive texts from YOUR WINERY NAME." By checking the box, customers opt into text messages, which is stored in the customer account settings.
This setting also enables the text message opt-in within existing customer account pages, where logged-in customers can select Opt in for Texts to Enroll in Text Messaging.
Example of the Mobile Phone field and text opt-in on the sign-up form
Mailing Address
Full Mailing Address
Enabling this setting turns on the option for customers to enter their mailing address upon sign-up. Customers must check the box confirming "Yes, I'd like to receive postal mail from YOUR WINERY NAME" before entering their mailing address. This customer input appears as the Mailing Address in customer accounts and .csv exports.
NOTE: Some clients enable Mailing Address collection even though they don't plan to send postal communications. Collecting this consent gives you options for the future, and the data can help determine the geographical location of customers who joined your mailing list but have not yet entered a shipping or billing address.
Example of the Mailing Address opt-in on the sign-up form
Require Mailing Address
Enabling this setting requires the Mailing Address, which customers must complete before they can sign up. The Mailing Address fields will automatically be visible on the form without the customer having to select the opt-in checkbox.
IMPORTANT: You must enable Full Mailing Address before selecting Require Mailing Address.
Mailing Address Title
Enter a message in this field to update the "Yes, I'd like to receive Postal Mail from YOUR WINERY NAME" text that appears with the mailing address opt-in.
Example of selecting the Yes, I'd like to receive Postal Mail... checkbox from the sign-up form
Referrals & Comments
Whom May We Thank with Referral Note
Enabling this setting turns on the "Whom may we thank for the introduction?" selection, which appears as a radial or dropdown depending on your site design. When a customer selects an option, an open text field appears where they can add detail. The selection is stored as the Referral (referral_source), and anything typed in the text field is stored as the Referral Note (referral_note), both of which appear in the customer's account and in .csv exports.
Example of the Whom may we thank for the introduction? selection on the sign-up form
Comments
Enabling this setting turns on the comments field, where customers can enter a comment upon sign-up. The info they enter populates the Sign Up Comments in a customer record, which you can view within their profile or export in a customer CSV.
Example of the Comments field on the sign-up form
Comments Title
Entering a message in this field changes the title from the Comments default to a title of your choosing. For example, instead of "Comments," you could change it to "Please leave a comment" or ask something more open like "Questions or comments?"
Make Comments Box Large
As the title suggests, this setting increases the size of the comments box to encourage a longer comment.
Example of the Comments box large field on the sign-up form
Question/Answers
This section lets you ask a single custom question during sign-up and provide a set of predefined answers. For example, you could ask "What styles of wine do you enjoy most?" and then add a list of answers they could choose from based on what kinds of wines you offer or a more general response.
